Funeral Services for Doug Duncan, Oct 11, 2011 from James Duncan on Vimeo.
On October 11, family met for a small funeral service at Nelson Baptist, after which they met at the cemetery for the interment. A bit later that afternoon, a larger celebration service was held at Hope Community Church. Both services are shown in part here, spliced together during the eulogy. Photos from the interment accompany the final hymn.

Trust you and all the family are going forward Simeon, as your dad would want, following his example of faith.
He is now one of that ‘great cloud of witnesses’ and with whom, we who follow on to know the Lord, shall one great day, join with, around the throne,
to be; ‘With Christ, which is FAR better!’
Regards
Simeon

Hi Allan and Margaret,
It was lovely to see you in Nelson. Just a pity that it wasn’t under different circumstances. My and my growing family are going well.
It’s funny, I miss Dad most in Church on Sunday mornings – singing the great hymns of the faith that he first taught me. I feel Paul’s words to Timothy ringing in my ears:
